My name is Mark Cogdill, and I received my Master’s degree from Concordia University-Wisconsin in 2017. I have served the community through Family Service Madison since 2006. I have experience working with adults, families, adolescents, and children, though much of my counseling career has been working adolescents struggling with various mental health concerns in day treatment and residential treatment settings. I've also spent much of my career helping families with disruptions in their family units.
I enjoy helping people of all ages live their lives with intention and purpose.  I take an existential approach with clients to help them find meaning in everyday situations and helping clients find choices they can make in their lives. I also help clients find community resources and supports that they may not be aware of to enrich their lives. I also enjoy working with clients of all ages that have had disruptions in relationships in their lives. I utilize a cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, client-centered, resiliency building, and acceptance approach in my therapy practice. I come from a strengths-based, person-centered, and culturally sensitive perspective.
I look forward to working with you to start your journey towards healing and stability
