Hello, my name is Mollie, and I obtained my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. I have extensive experience in healthcare, mental health, and research.
Throughout my education, training, and experience, I have seen the importance of a holistic approach to working with each client and focusing on how a person’s physical body and mental health are intertwined.
I use a strengths-based and solutions-focused approach to supporting you through the therapeutic process. Together, we will use variety of therapeutic interventions, including those from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness to create an individualized plan so that you can change your behaviors and your patterns of thinking.
I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist as well as kink and poly-friendly. I welcome individuals to bring their cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds into my office and recognize these as the connections from which we are molded.
Within Family Service Madison, I work with children/teens, adults, couples, and families. I also facilitate Anti-Violence groups.
